Privacy Policy

We're a small packing room, not a data company. Here's exactly what we keep, and why.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, shipping address, phone number if you give one, what you bought, and any preferences or notes you write at checkout.
• When you subscribe: your email address, nothing else.
• When you write to us: whatever you send, so we can reply.

We never see your card number. Payments are handled by our checkout and payment providers (Shopify and our card processor). They receive your payment details directly; we only learn that the order was paid.

How we use it

To scoop, pack and ship your order; to email you order updates and tracking; to answer your questions; and, if you subscribed, to send occasional emails about new pieces — you can unsubscribe from any of them with one click.

Packing videos

Only if you add a packing video to your order, we film it being packed and post the video on our social accounts under the first name or nickname you give us. Your address, email and anything else stay off camera. If you'd like a video taken down later, email us and we'll do it.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop: Shopify (checkout and order records), our card processor (payment), shipping carriers (your name and address, so the parcel can find you), and Cloudflare (website hosting, our subscriber list, and delivering website messages), and Google Gmail (our email inbox). We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is remembered with a small piece of browser storage so it survives a page refresh. The checkout page, run by Shopify, uses its own cookies to complete your order — see Shopify's privacy policy for those.

How long we keep it

Order records stay as long as we need them for shipping, taxes and any disputes. Your subscriber email stays until you unsubscribe. Messages you send us are kept in our email inbox only as long as the conversation needs. The website keeps a message reference and a non-readable fingerprint for up to 24 hours to prevent duplicate submissions; it does not store your message text in that record. Temporary request limits help prevent spam.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe at any time. Email hello@ribbelle.com and we'll respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Children

Our shop is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
